Participants in the competition should try to register prior to the first competitive LEAGUE game of the season. You may register after the season starts, but you will not be awarded any points for the games prior to your date of registration.
The competition will run for all LEAGUE games until the end of the season. Some Clubs may include Cup games as part of their competition.
Participants must select a unique Nickname and select 4 players and 1 substitute from your club's squad of players. They will also be required to complete a tie-breaker of "how many league goals will your club score this season".
Subscription fees to this competition are set by your chosen club. Some clubs have no subscription fees.
A portion of your subscription fee will be allocated to your chosen club.
The more subscriptions we receive, the bigger the prize pool - winner takes all unless otherwise stated.
In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the tie-breaker will come into force.
Points will be allocated to each participant after each league game until the end of the season. Points are awarded as follows :
A panel of judges selected by your club will award points to each player for each game they play in.
For each player you have selected, you will earn points as per the panel's decision for each game. The best player will be awarded 20 points, 2nd best will be awarded 10 points, 3rd best 6 points and 4th best 2 points.
You will lose 5 points if any of your players are yellow carded and 15 points if any are red carded. (2 Yellow cards leading to a red card = -10 points. A straight red card = -15 points).
Some Clubs may alter their scoring methods, but if this is the case then full details of the scoring system will be published.
Your substitute player will only be used if one of your selected players does not play in a match. IE. If one of your players are out through injury, suspension, or transferred, then your substitute player will come into play. Only one substitute is allowed. If 2 or more of your players does not play, then tough luck - only one substitute is allowed.
A Player Transfer Window will be open throughout the season - except when there is a result pending. Results are pending when a fixture has been played, but the result has not yet been posted. During Player Transfer Windows, you will be able to change any or all of your players. Some clubs will require you to pay a transfer fee and some clubs may allow free transfers. Where a payment is required for transfers, this will increase the prize pool and add to your contribution to your club funds.
The league tables will be updated and online by 6pm on a Monday following a Saturday fixture and by 10am on a Thursday following a midweek fixture WHERE POSSIBLE.
You may enter as many times as you like - and you can subscribe to several club competitions at the same time. Some clubs may impose restrictions on the number of entries per email address. If you join a competition AFTER it has started, you will start at one point behind the lowest competitor in that respective league table or on zero points, whichever is the lesser of the two.
Please ensure that you register with a valid email address - those registrations found to have a false or invalid email address will be removed and disqualified. Any Player found to be cheating or attempting to cheat will be removed and disqualified. Any player registering with an offensive nickname or a nickname which is not suitable for viewing by minors will be removed and disqualified. Where subscription fees have been paid, they will NOT be refunded in the case of disqualification.
Registering for the competition assumes acceptance of the conditions above.
